Founded in 1972 on California’s Mendocino Coast, Thanksgiving Coffee is one of the oldest specialty coffee roasters in the region and among the first micro-roasters in the United States. With over 50 years of experience, it has earned numerous accolades, including Roaster of the Year, Good Food Awards, Golden Bean awards, and multiple 90+ ratings from Coffee Review. The company has also twice been recognized for producing one of the top 25 coffees of the year. Its long history reflects a commitment to quality long before specialty coffee became mainstream.

    Long time GoGoffeeGo customer. In a phone conversation with Elysie a couple of months ago we reviewed over 220 orders since nearly the beginning of the service!

    I usually order a Etihiopian and a South/Central light roast and use the Hario Mugen.

    Lots of orders from JBC, PTs. I’ve also had great coffees from Red Rooster.

    I tried your Thanksgiving Kona blend — just Wow! Light super sweet, crisp, floral, fruity … Everything else I’ve tried from Thanks giving has been as good with distintive taste profiles.

    Don’t tell anybody, but I’ve also sneaked away from GoCoffeeGo with a couple of recent Al Mokka coffees from Yemen. Equally good experiences.

    I was aware of the Yemen sites and the area coffee from my several months in neighboring Oman during the first Gulf War.

    Contradictory to my earlier experience though GoCoffeeGo I thought there were some stumbles with the conversion to Shopify which Al Mokka also uses.

    Really good for the price, smelled wonderful when I opened up the bag, and had a great light roast taste to it. I’ve used it on pour over and French press, and would definitely order again.
