Story
This coffee opens with warm vanilla aromatics and delicate hints of honeysuckle. As the cup develops, vibrant blood orange notes bring refreshing depth and balance. A lively body carries the cup’s gentle acidity and sweetness through to a smooth, crisp finish.
Hunapu is the result of Luis Pedro Zelaya’s commitment to producing exceptional micro-lot coffees with smallholder farmers across Guatemala’s Antigua region. Grown at the base of Volcán Agua in rich volcanic soil, these Bourbon lots are processed at Bella Vista, where innovation and sustainability drive every step.
Through reduced water use, creative reuse of coffee cherry pulp, and ongoing support for producers, Bella Vista continues to elevate both quality and community. After more than ten years of partnership, we’re proud to share the return of Hunapu—one of our most beloved coffees. Enjoy!
