Story

Triangle Accent

Capital Cold Brew returns for the spring and summer season, crafted for smooth, easy drinking in warmer weather. This year’s blend brings together coffees from Latin America and Africa to create a rich, full-bodied profile with notes of milk chocolate and caramel sweetness. Brazil Campos Altos provides the foundation of the blend. Grown near the town of Campos Altos in Minas Gerais, this natural-processed coffee contributes a dense structure and rich body. Farms in this region are often expansive and utilize mechanical harvesting, supporting consistent production at scale. Honduras Cafico adds brightness and balance. This washed Parainema variety comes from Corquín in the department of Copán and is produced by Cafico, an association of smallholder farmers organized by longtime partners Walter and Sergio Romero. The organization is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, holding certifications including Fair Trade Organic, UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, and Regenerative Organic. Burundi Turihamwe completes the blend with layered sweetness and complexity. Sourced from women producers in the Ngozi region, this washed Bourbon coffee offers notes of golden raisin and date. A returning component in past Cold Brew releases, it is especially valued for the way its character evolves as the coffee cools.
The result is a smooth, balanced, and full-bodied blend, designed to be brewed low and slow for cold brew preparation. It is perfect for warm weather and even better year-round.
