Story

Triangle Accent

This sweet, round light roast opens with inviting aromas of dried apple, nougat, and cinnamon. In the cup, cocoa powder and toasted almond notes are complemented by creamy nougat sweetness and bright nectarine acidity. A crisp, spiced finish of cinnamon and grilled lemon adds lift and structure.

Maracaturra is a distinctive hybrid of the large-beaned Maragogype and the classic, sweet Caturra. While known for its strong productivity, the plant is vulnerable to leaf rust and requires careful attention in the field. This lot is grown at 1,753 meters above sea level and is fully washed and processed on-site with precision.

At Finca El Socorro, the combination of this uncommon varietal and meticulous production results in a cup that is elegant, nuanced, and deeply sweet.
