Story
A stunning showcase of one of the world’s most coveted coffee varieties, produced by the award-winning Abby and Sal Munoz. This exceptional Gesha reflects the deep expertise and passion of Abby and Sal, who have garnered numerous competition honors with their meticulously cultivated Gesha lots.
Planted on the volcanic slopes of Hawai‘i Island’s famed Kona district at elevations of 2,000 to 2,500 feet, this Gesha thrives in rich, mineral-laden soils and a temperate climate of misty mornings and sunny afternoons. Hand-harvested at peak ripeness, the cherries then undergo a carefully monitored maceration natural process, where extended fermentation in the whole fruit amplifies the floral aromatics and heightens the elegant sweetness that defines great Gesha coffees.
The Hawai‘i Monarch Kona Gesha Maceration Natural is a tribute to Abby and Sal Munoz’s dedication to pushing Kona coffee to its highest heights via post harvest processing— a coffee worthy of its global acclaim.
