Story

Eulises Guzman is a third generation coffee farmer dedicated to producing high quality coffee. Guzman takes a holistic approach to farming; prioritizing sustainable growing practices like intercropping and shade-grown coffee, soil health, reduced reliance on chemical inputs, and human and social values. He likewise works with other farmers to share regenerative farming techniques and healthy soil management. Guzman first learned about specialty coffee in the early 2000s and has since made a name for himself as a premier coffee grower. This particular lot of coffee is the coveted Pink Bourbon variety; a coffee variety discovered and grown in Colombia known for its intense floral notes, pleasant acidity, and a higher glucose content producing a sweeter, silkier cup. This lot is chock-full of red fruit notes. We tasted strawberry, red apple, marzipan, and orange blossom.
