This coffee comes from smallholder farmers delivering to the Ngomano Factory in central Kenya—the sole washing station of the Ngomano Farmer Cooperative Society, part of the larger Machakos Cooperative Union.

Machakos supports 28 local societies, providing services often outsourced elsewhere, everything from dry milling and farmer training to marketing and subsidized farm inputs.

In the cup, this microlot captures everything we love about a classic Kenya: big-bodied, fruit-forward, and full of life. It’s syrupy and vibrant, with notes of cranberry, pear-lime seltzer, and sweet cherry tomato.
