Delicious, and easy to dial in

I don't know what the correlation between how fine I have to grind and how perfect the extraction is, but both the Stonehouse and Pebble Creek espressos from Ghost Town hit the sweet spot on my grinder and in my mouth. Unlike several recent beans I've bought, these did not need to be ground on a setting so fine the burrs were touching in order to get a proper extraction. Both were great as cortados, and the Pebble Creek was excellent as a shot. Haven't tried the Stonehouse straight as I just opened the bag, but based on the richness of the cortado, I have no doubt it will be great as well.

Good coffee, its not over roasted, no burnt rubber smell, no oily beans. Fantastic smell as soon as I opened the shipping bag, hints of milk chocolate and hazelnut.
