Story

Triangle Accent

Produced by the renowned Pacas family in El Salvador, this Bernardina natural coffee is a rare and expressive gem. Finca Santa Juana, an isolated volcanic estate nestled in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec range, is where this exceptional coffee is crafted. In 2021, Bernardina earned the prestigious Cup of Excellence award.

The Bernardina variety, named in honor of Ruperto Bernardino Merche, is a true testament to the rich terroir of El Salvador. Its lush, aromatic cup is shaped by volcanic soils, meticulous cultivation, and a carefully managed 25-30 day natural drying process on raised beds.

Within the cup, Bernardina reveals a vibrant floral and complex flavor profile. Notes of lemongrass, bergamot, berry preserves, and gentle citrus tea intertwine, creating a symphony of taste. This coffee embodies the five generations of Pacas family stewardship and stands as a singular expression of El Salvador’s most celebrated terroir.

Story:

Based in Bellingham, Washington, Camber was started in 2015 by three Certified Q-graders who were (and still are) passionate about sourcing and roasting coffees with exceptional sweetness, complexity and balance. Despite receiving some nice recognition out of the gate, they've remained very aware that they're only as good as their last batch, which is why they cup every single roast. In July of 2017, they opened their flagship cafe, where they serve fresh, creative food and beverages.
