Story
From the steep slopes of La Coipa, Cajamarca, the 3M – Las Cidras farm produces exceptional coffees across 4.5 hectares dedicated to specialty cultivation. This family-run project is the inheritance of Miguel Minga Cuña’s parents, now carried forward with his family’s vision of differentiated, high-quality coffees. Miguel and his family focus on innovative fermentation methods, particularly anaerobic washed processes, while maintaining the traditional care and discipline of washed coffees.
Their goal is simple: preserve quality, ensure sustainability, and deliver coffees that satisfy roasters and drinkers alike. With about 80 residents in the surrounding Estrella Divina community, coffee is the central livelihood and cultural heartbeat of the region. 3M – Las Cidras stands as an example of generational passion and resilience in Cajamarca’s renowned coffee lands, where innovation and tradition meet in every cup.
This lot - grown at a fantastic 1850 MASL - is washed and of the Caturra, Bourbon, Gesha, Catuai varieties.
We love this coffee. It's easy, buttery, and smooth. We get notes of pineapple, caramel and black tea.
