Story

Triangle Accent

Grow

Grown in the highlands of West Guji’s Hambella Wamena district, Oromia Bishan comes from the Bishan Wate Washing Station, where heirloom varieties flourish at elevations between 1900 and 2200 meters. This washed lot reflects the meticulous craft behind Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffees.

Freshly harvested cherries are depulped within hours of picking, then fermented for 36 to 48 hours to naturally loosen the mucilage. The parchment is washed in clean, flowing water and monitored by sight, sound, and tactile feel, before being moved to raised African beds to dry under parabolic shade nets for 5 to 7 days.

The result is a vibrant and elegant cup that showcases the hallmark character of West Guji: clean sweetness, refined acidity, and lifted floral complexity shaped by the cool climate and the Wate River’s fertile surroundings.
