Story
Due to limited supply and high tariffs on Brazilian coffee, this offering now features beans from Mexico. After rigorous testing, these coffees proved equal to—or better than—Brazil’s, especially given last year’s poor harvest.
Origin Info
This lot comes from partner farms in Veracruz. APG works closely with growers, providing technical support and organic best-practice guidance. Harvested cherries are delivered to the APG wet mill, redesigned to emphasize lot separation and quality control. Coffees are carefully sorted and floated to remove defects, then depulped and fermented under controlled pH and temperature conditions to optimize flavor. After washing, the coffee is slow-dried on raised beds and stored in GrainPro cocoons. Final milling and preparation take place at the APG dry mill, ensuring consistent care from farm to export.
CUP PROFILE: Sweet caramel and hazelnut mingle with mild citrus to form a creamy body. A light milk chocolate finish rounds out this approachable espresso.
