Looking Homeward Coffee began in a cafe in downtown Sacramento, CA in 2012. The Director of Coffee, Jake Deome, worked with the same man every Saturday morning. The two of them would get into long, deep, philosophical talks. It was through those talks that the idea of Looking Homeward Coffee was born.
In 2014, Jake began roasting coffee in Sacramento for one of top roasteries in the country. Since then, he has been on the forefront of
roasting technology.
Looking Homeward's coffee beans are ethically and responsibly sourced through companies dedicated to changing the status quo of the industry.
"Looking Homeward is an idea focused around finding the place you belong. Be that a physical, emotional, or spiritual place; it is our goal to aid in your journey towards home. For our customers, our goal is to be a roasting company with quality you can trust and transparency to purchase coffee from sources that can be trusted to do things the correct way."
Looking Homeward is based out of Seattle, Washington, the home of the 3rd Wave Coffee movement.
