For over a decade, the Guardia family has been an esteemed member of the Costa Rican specialty coffee community, and we’ve had the privilege of sourcing their exceptional coffees for over a decade.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf the estate’s 100 hectares, 55 are dedicated to coffee cultivation, 10 to sugar cane production, and 35 to protected natural forest preservation. This commitment to land conservation fosters a thriving ecosystem, characterized by diverse wild vegetation, abundant biodiversity, and nutrient-rich volcanic soils that nurture the coffee trees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSustainability is at the core of the Guardia family’s approach. Hacienda Sonora employs Honey and Natural processing methods for all its coffees, significantly reducing water consumption.
