In collaboration with Willie’s Distillery in Ennis, Montana, we thoughtfully condition our Bourbon Barrel coffee in white oak barrels that have been previously used to age bourbon. Our goal is to impart the distinct flavors taken on by the barrel while maintaining the characteristics of the coffees in them. We present a pleasant coffee drinking experience with added complexity in the cup.

    This has become my default coffee. The coffee has a subtle hint of bourbon, like a bourban that has been aging in a barrel for many years. Not bitter; just the right amount of robust. After pouring the requisite amount of beans in my grinder each morning, I always put my nose up to the bag and breathe in the intoxicating* aroma. Can't begin my day without it.

    *not that kind of intoxicating :-)

    Tastes like dessert. I drink this coffee with a coconut milk creamer that's sweetened. It has an amazing bourbon taste that reminds me of a Buca di Beppo tiramisu, which is known for being quite boozy. Compared to Maker's Mark bourbon coffee this one is pretty loaded with bourbon. I usually like dark roasts and this one is just a touch lighter than my usual preference.

    While stuck on a ship in the middle of the ocean with no access to bourbon to wet my pallet, this bourbon barrel conditioned bean picked up some flavorful hints of bourbon and filled my office with a wonderful aroma. It was hit in the office and I highly recommend it for yours.
