This coffee comes to us from a small farm called Casa Vieja located in the southwestern Colombian department of Nariño. Casa Vieja is owned and operated by Amadeo Argoti. His farm consists of just one hectare of land containing roughly 4,000 trees. This particular lot is a blend of Caturra and Castillo. Once harvested the coffee is depulped, undergoes a 24 hour fermentation process and then is sun dried on raised beds.
