A great iced coffee by Ryan Castelaz you will not forget!

Ingredients

DRINK INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 ounces - Grapefruit-Lemongrass Simple Syrup ( See recipe below)
  • 1 ounce - Toddy Cold Brew ( Onyx Coffee Labs Geometry Blend)
  • 6 ounces - Tonic
  • Garnish with Grapefruit Peel
  • Ice

GRAPEFRUIT-LEMONGRASS SIMPLE SYRUP RECIPE:

  • 30 oz Simply brand Grapefruit Juice or other
  • 5 oz Honey
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Lemongrass Chopped (or several dashes of dried lemongrass)

- Bring Simply Grapefruit Juice to a low boil, reduce to a simmer, and steep 75 grams of Lemongrass for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately incorporate Honey.

Strain + chill.

*This recipe makes enough syrup for 15 drinks. You could easily half the recipe, but I wouldn’t recommend going much below that! The syrup will last in the fridge in an air-tight container for 1-2 weeks.

Directions

  1. Make simple syrup.
  2. Make the cold brew.
  3. Next, begin making the drink.
  4. Garnish.
  5. Serve over ice in 12 oz high ball.
