BROWN SUGAR CINNAMON CORTADO

To make a brown sugar cinnamon cortado, brew 1-2 shots of espresso and pour it into a mug with 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Steam and froth a small amount of milk and pour it over the espresso mixture, then stir to combine.

With espresso

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 - 2 ounces milk (whole milk or oat milk works well)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Brew 1-2 shots of espresso directly into a six-ounce cup.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a pinch of ground cinnamon to the espresso.
  3. Warm and froth your milk using a steam wand or microwave with a frother.
  4. Pour the steamed milk over the espresso mixture.
  5. Serve immediately.

    With drip coffee


Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces strong drip coffee
  • 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 - 2 ounces milk (whole milk or oat milk)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Brew 2 ounces of very strong drip coffee.
  2. In a six-ounce cup, combine the hot drip coffee, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Warm and froth the milk.
  4. Pour the frothed milk into the cup and serve.
