Thanksgiving Edition: A Letter From Elise

Thanksgiving Edition: A Letter From Elise
You may not know me, but I know you. You are my sun, moon and stars. You are who I worry about when your coffee order is late. I've put my time, passion and dreams into creating something new, fresh, different and most of all, fun.
GoCoffeeGo was created to be a place you could count on and trust to bring you amazing coffee from top roasters across the country. It's a place where roasters are heavily vetted and researched. In order to get on my site, you must be the best. It's not about how much hype a roaster has or the lines outside their coffee shop that wins you a place on GoCoffeeGo. You can't ship the barista in the box. The coffee must stand on its own.
Whether it's the best light roast, the best dark roast, the best microlots, or the best blends - whatever it is, it must be epic. Every one of our roasters have gifts that make them unique and different, just like you. Not every coffee is for everyone but I really try hard to make sure that whatever we carry, it is the best.
Coffee is my life and what we live for at GoCoffeeGo.
GoCoffeeGo started with an idea that my late husband, Scott Pritikin and I came up with on vacation, while sitting in a cafe in London, near Notting Hill. I took his hand and together GoCoffeeGo was born. We had a blast creating it. Wow, we laughed so much!
You supported our dream and so many of you stood by me when things got rough, through the loss of my husband and co-founder, Scott, to stage 4 Esophageal cancer 2.5 years ago. Your emails and cards meant the world to me and to our son Oliver, and gave me the strength to carry the torch forward.

Today, 11 years later, I want to give thanks to each and every one of you for supporting my company. It has been an honor to be the person behind the curtain at GoCoffeeGo. I am thrilled to say that I have a great team supporting me to keep our vision going. I know Scott is smiling from above with a coffee cup in his hand.
Life is short and can throw you some serious curveballs. I have learned these past few years how important it is to stop and smell the coffee. I am blessed to have you as my customer and want to thank you for your continued support.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.
xo,
Elise
