Peaberry Recommends - Espresso

Espresso Novo is a great and momentous discovery! With smooth notes of caramel, banana, and a nutty finish, this is one of the most complex and remarkable espressos ever! Herb Brodsky and his sons Jake and Joseph are a remarkable family. To Herb every cup is like a song… a Bob Dylan song. He’s part hitchhiking poet, part bohemian writer. Jake, a scientist of coffee operations, obsesses on coffee perfection, getting primo beans from his brother Joseph, their world-traveling sourcer. They treat coffee like fine wine, so beautifully presented, even their packaging looks like a fancy gift. There is good crema and Karma in every sip of this amazing and tantalizing Espresso. |

Ask anyone, and you will find that they never forget their first. A memory from long ago that even today is never far from my mind. Her name was Belle Espresso, a friend brought her to my house one evening, knowing that we should meet. He was right. She had a medium body and looked just my type. With a come hither look, I picked her up and carried her to my coffee machine. I surrendered and closed my eyes. I could not resist her aroma… Brandy, Chocolate and Caramel and how lovely she looked glistening with oil. I had to have her. Steam excitedly shot from my machine wand as I pulled myself a shot! As I brought Belle to my lips, I wondered how many others knew her and if they felt the same about her, as I did... It was at that moment I knew that coffee was not just coffee, it was so much more and I would never forget her. That beautiful Belle is Klatch’s Belle Espresso and her memory will never fade away. |

This Espresso is truly outstanding! As an Espresso, it is creamy and rich with a chocolate aroma and nutty sweet notes of honey and ginger. One taste and I yelled out "Oh My God!" - As a drip, it is smooth and easy going. I could drink cup after cup, all day long. The Boss! Endless Summer Espresso - Get it while you can -- as long as it lasts. Another exceptional espresso from Barefoot! |

The Redcab - Brazil is a classic from Barefoot that always hits the mark. On Target! This coffee is from Luis Pascal and Daterra -- an outstanding farm that produces amazing coffee. Its flavor notes of almond brittle and marzipan, dive into a deep gooey, chocolaty brownie with an outstanding cream finish, then a surprise of the slightest kiss of dried strawberries and citrus tickles your pallete. Yum! Pull an espresso shot for an extra blast of flavor explosion! |

An espresso beloved and touted by all who have had this homage to the "Redline" subway in Chicago. It is a classic! Its richness runs down the center like a racing stripe, leaving a trail of cocoa, honey, lavender, and a mild merlot-like fruit in the finish. The flavors translate perfectly in milk and are even amplified in sweetness making for a marvelous latte or cappuccino. This was the first coffee we had from Metropolis and knew right then and there, that Metropolis had to be on GoCoffeeGo.com. I will hop on this Redline anytime, anywhere. Jump aboard and join us for an Espresso trip that's well worth taking to a fantastic destination and finish in the cup. |

The Red Bear Espresso is a decadent offering from Mark Barany, the new, break-out roaster from Seattle. The flavor notes of chocolate, caramel, orange and lemon drop candy are sensational! Mark is a true artisan roaster. After meticulously cupping, sampling and choosing only the best beans from all over the world, he personally roasts each and every coffee for you.
Originally from New York, Mark moved and lived in Kenya for years. He learned how to speak Swahili and fell in love with African Coffees which set a new course for his life. Moving to Seattle in 1998, he became a barista, then a roaster in 2007 -- just roasting for a few friends. He fine-tuned, tinkered with roasting profiles, then in 2009 purchased his dream roasting equipment and Kuma Coffee was born. Most of Mark's coffees earn top scores from Coffee Review. Amazing! Between you and me, Mark is a coffee - rock star in the making. Each and every cup of his offerings have blown us away and that is why Mark and Kuma are on GoCoffeeGo. A must brew! |
