Espresso Novo is a great and momentous discovery! With smooth notes of caramel, banana, and a nutty finish, this is one of the most complex and remarkable espressos ever! Herb Brodsky and his sons Jake and Joseph are a remarkable family. To Herb every cup is like a song… a Bob Dylan song. He’s part hitchhiking poet, part bohemian writer. Jake, a scientist of coffee operations, obsesses on coffee perfection, getting primo beans from his brother Joseph, their world-traveling sourcer. They treat coffee like fine wine, so beautifully presented, even their packaging looks like a fancy gift. There is good crema and Karma in every sip of this amazing and tantalizing Espresso. |

The Redcab - Brazil is a classic from Barefoot that always hits the mark. On Target! Its flavor notes hint of taffy and cacao in a dry aroma followed by layers of nougat, cashew butter and nutmeg that really deliver. Redcab is wonderfully heavy bodied and round with an outstanding cream finish. Yum! Pull an espresso shot for an extra blast of flavor explosion! |

Every coffee has a story and Big Truck Espresso is no exception. Inspired by his
childhood memories, roaster Oliver Stormshak learned to drive in his Grandpa
Joe's green 1955 Chevy Truck. As he grew into a man, Grandpa Joe was a
mainstay in his life and has remained a great role model who has inspired him
ever since. He taught him life lessons and the importance of hard work. This has
helped make Oliver the great roaster he is today. This commitment to excellence
has rewarded Olympia with this years 2013 Roaster Of The Year Award. Oliver
and crew created Big Truck Espresso to be Olympia's flagship espresso and it
does not disappoint. It's a classic, just like Grandpa Joe and that 55 Chevy. It is
always great, memorable and consistent. A solid, big bodied espresso with sweet
chocolate notes and a dense fruity finish. Big Truck is a mix of beautiful organic
coffees that are often washed, honeyed or natural. They change from season to
season but it is an espresso you can always count on to deliver. Grandpa Joe
eventually sold the truck but the memories live on in Big Truck Espresso. |

A great coffee blend to get your morning rush on from the winner of the 2012 Micro Roaster of The Year! The Bird Rock Blend #2 is thick bodied, bold, yet smooth and has become the go-to breakfast blend for the Surfers heading out to Windansea beach in La Jolla just steps from where Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is located. We love it anytime of the day when we want a smoky, toasty, chocolate cup. Made with love from organic and fair trade coffee beans, this coffee will help your soar like a bird indeed. Surf's up - fill your cup! |

Attention Ethiopian coffee lovers: A brilliant new
espresso has come to light! Novo's
Three Suns Espresso is here! It does not disappoint as its flavors cover a full spectrum of hues and tones and
will leave you to bask in its glow. This outstanding
espresso is one of our favorite shots of the year.
Made of 3 different washed Ethiopian coffees, every
shot is full of creamy, tropical, citrus,
berry-licousness. We are not sure what they are
doing or whatever magical blending and hocus pocus antics are going on, but Jake, Herb and crew have created a winner. |

To kick off the summer, this is an excellent choice for a great iced coffee. I recommend the Colombia El Meridiano from Dogwood. It is an absolutely "tropical" coffee. With exotic flavor notes of papaya, melon, cantaloupe and a kick of peppercorns, this cup is great for the summer. I suggest you try it brewed as a drip, french press or pour-over as well. This lot represents the highest quality day lots from about 58 growers in the Tolima region in west-central Colombia. Stephanie the roaster at Dogwood tells us, "Most of the growers are very small, wet milling their coffee with small, sometimes hand cranked de-pulpers, traditionally fermenting the coffee and drying the coffee on rooftops or small greenhouses." Producers can choose to sell their coffee with Virmax, Dogwood's exporting partner in Colombia who will grade, roast and cup every lot and assign a level of quality to it, A, AA or AAA. These coffee beans are rated AAA quality. The best! Dogwood is thrilled to offer this fantastic coffee to you. |

This is an outstanding Espresso from PT's. Its syrupy lush chocolate body with notes of juicy cherry sweetness hits with all the right milk chocolate notes. Round after round, shot after shot, its tangerine like acidity provides a tang-like jab to finish you off. Truly a knock-out and World Heavyweight Champion Espresso of the World! Great for iced coffee and Toddy too! |

Neon is a chemical element with the symbol Ne and atomic number 10. It is also a bright and vibrant color appearance. Think David Bowie's makeup during his Ziggy Stardust phase. It is also a 2012 fashion trend that claims a lot of celebrity victims, who will remain nameless. Neon however can be timeless and that is when it comes to Dogwood's Neon Espresso. Dogwood's Stephanie Ratanas and crew really have wowed us with their coffees. Enough for us to pass over bigger names to bring them on the site. Neon Espresso is their latest espresso creation that is a great example of why we brought them on board. It is bright and has an explosive sweetness that makes it destined to be a classic. It also has a great chocolatey vibe that will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth. No need to worry about the elements because it is all here in Dogwood's Neon Espresso. Order a bag. It will leave you glowing. |
