This is a fun left quote. Ask anyone, and you will find that they never forget their first. A memory from long ago that even today is never far from my mind. Her name was Belle Espresso, a friend brought her to my house one evening, knowing that we should meet. He was right. She had a medium body and looked just my type. With a come hither look, I picked her up and carried her to my coffee machine. I surrendered and closed my eyes. I could not resist her aroma… Brandy, Chocolate and Caramel and how lovely she looked glistening with oil. I had to have her. Steam excitedly shot from my machine wand as I pulled myself a shot! As I brought Belle to my lips, I wondered how many others knew her and if they felt the same about her, as I did... It was at that moment I knew that coffee was not just coffee, it was so much more and I would never forget her. That beautiful Belle is Klatch’s Belle Espresso and her memory will never fade away. This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. Espresso Novo is a great and momentous discovery! With smooth notes of caramel, banana, and a nutty finish, this is one of the most complex and remarkable espressos ever! Herb Brodsky and his sons Jake and Joseph are a remarkable family. To Herb every cup is like a song… a Bob Dylan song. He’s part hitchhiking poet, part bohemian writer. Jake, a scientist of coffee operations, obsesses on coffee perfection, getting primo beans from his brother Joseph, their world-traveling sourcer. They treat coffee like fine wine, so beautifully presented, even their packaging looks like a fancy gift. There is good crema and Karma in every sip of this amazing and tantalizing Espresso. This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. Attention Chocoholics: looking for an espresso that is super duper chocolatey? Then Klatch House Espresso is for you! I have been pulling shots all morning on my new La Marzocco GS3 and am loving it! Not to be confused with their FTO House Espresso…This espresso is ultra rich and has a heavy, creamy body. Add steamed milk to the Klatch House Espresso and it tastes like a Mocha without adding any chocolate and all those calories. It is really quite amazing. On my 3rd cappuccino this morning I decided to experiment. While I never add sugar to my coffee, because of the over the top chocolate body of the espresso, I wanted to see what would happen if I added a touch of sugar and a spray of whipped cream on top. Well, as suspected, I felt like I was drinking a real hot cocoa! I swear I was in back Paris having an Angelina Hot Chocolate on Rue de Rivoli. Well, not exactly. Its not as thick, but almost. Because of its richness in milk drinks, it may be a bit heavy for those of you that slam 6 double Cappuccinos or Lattes before noon, but for most people it will hit the spot as a great mainstay to have on hand when you want something sweet and naughty. For many people that is everyday and all day long! This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. I recently received a saucy love letter from Genevieve, a French woman who invited me to New Orleans for an amazing cup of coffee; a coffee that she promised I would never forget. Always up for a little Cajun spice in my life, I jumped a flight to the Big Easy. The fact that Genevieve lived off the beaten path and in the middle of a swamp did not dissuade me. I was on a quest to return with this treasure of coffee. I boarded a boat early evening and reclined as my Row Master, Fidel, paddled me through the Bayou. The humid mist created an air of mystery, which heightened my sense of anticipation. I closed my eyes and envisioned this French Beauty and her promise to serve up a deep, dark, oily, smoky and chocolaty cup of love. Fidel whispered cautiously, “I see it, Professor, it’s just up ahead." Fireflies illuminated her home amongst the wild vines and thick foliage. We approached her somewhat rickety boat landing. As I stepped from the boat onto the dock that creaked and swayed, the fireflies led the way to Genevieve’s doorway and to this French Beauty, who greeted me with a French press in hand. “Bonjour, Professor Peaberry, Café?” She purred as she poured a cup. I sipped this brew, one that I had traveled thousands of miles to try -- “Oui, oui. Très bon. Magnifique!” I declared. Yes, indeed - Earth tone and tropical wood filled my senses. The coffee was truly French, smoky, yet fruity and exotic with Latin American, Indonesian and African beans all in the mix! Genevieve stared deep into my eyes and continued to pour me more. I felt a little uneasy in the Big Easy… Perhaps I was hypnotized? Suddenly tribal drums filled my ears. Entranced, I began to dance for her. I swayed my hips and then hopped on one foot! It was a bit embarrassing, I must say. Indeed I was her puppet! My head was spinning. I smelled smoke. I looked to my French lovely and fire filled her eyes! I mean fire! Suddenly an alligator lurched out of the shadows and appeared by her side. Snap! SNAP! Oh, yes, something was wrong! As I fled for the door, I snatched the bag of coffee beans from which she had brewed this amazing cup of coffee. Her alligator chased me and continually snapped at my heels as I raced to the boat. Fidel was waiting. Fully caffeinated, I pushed him aside and took the oars. I rowed away with speed and haste, leaving the enraged French Voodoo Princess, Genevieve, and her alligator far behind. What a close call. I was thankful to get out alive and with my bachelorhood intact! All parts accounted for... What a dangerous ordeal finding the best coffee had become. I wondered what the wonderful coffee was that entranced me. I flipped the bag around and discovered it was my beloved Equator - Alligator French! Who needs to leave home for a little action? The Equator Alligator French Roast will surely help put a little adventure in your cup! This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. Clang your Tibetan singing bowl. Temple's Dharma Espresso will transform you. You may think I am crazy, or jacked up on caffeine but I believe man's understanding of the dharma of inanimate things and the universe will be clearer with each sip. Okay, maybe that is stretching it a bit, but this is a great espresso. It is a perfect mix of Latin America and Ethiopian coffees. As straight espresso, it is a more fruit forward shot, with a bit of lively acidity. I like lively. In cappuccino and milk type drinks, it has a silky creaminess. The flavor brings to mind childhood memories. Flavor flashbacks, like those cups of frozen malted ice cream from the baseball game. You know the ones that you eat with a flat wooden spoon? Or maybe it is more like the soft, milky powdery soft notes, like the ones in Whoppers Malted Milk Ball candy. Great as a shot and comforting with cream. Don't be fooled by the name. Dharma may sound Zen but it is sure to get a lot of excitement. This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. The Red Bear Espresso is a decadent offering from Mark Barany, the new, break-out roaster from Seattle. The flavor notes of chocolate, caramel, orange and lemon drop candy are sensational! Mark is a true artisan roaster. After meticulously cupping, sampling and choosing only the best beans from all over the world, he personally roasts each and every coffee for you. Originally from New York, Mark moved and lived in Kenya for years. He learned how to speak Swahili and fell in love with African Coffees which set a new course for his life. Moving to Seattle in 1998, he became a barista, then a roaster in 2007 -- just roasting for a few friends. He fine-tuned, tinkered with roasting profiles, then in 2009 purchased his dream roasting equipment and Kuma Coffee was born. Most of Mark's coffees earn top scores from Coffee Review. Amazing! Between you and me, Mark is a coffee - rock star in the making. Each and every cup of his offerings have blown us away and that is why Mark and Kuma are on GoCoffeeGo. A must brew! This is a fun left quote. Even though Summer is about to begin, it's not to late for a Spring Fling. Be naughty, I say... One last time! It's the perfect beverage to enjoy while you recline back, watching the flowers blossom. Alas, the birds are chirping. Great as an espresso, as a drip or pour over. Its flavor notes remind me of juicy stone fruit. Its floral and luscious caramel finishes off the cup. This is one Spring Fling that will you leave you with a happy ending! This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. Every coffee has a story and Big Truck Espresso is no exception. Inspired by his childhood memories, roaster Oliver Stormshak learned to drive in his Grandpa Joe's green 1955 Chevy Truck. As he grew into a man, Grandpa Joe was a mainstay in his life and has remained a great role model who has inspired him ever since. He taught him life lessons and the importance of hard work. This has helped make Oliver the great roaster he is today. This commitment to excellence has rewarded Olympia with this years 2013 Roaster Of The Year Award. Oliver and crew created Big Truck Espresso to be Olympia's flagship espresso and it does not disappoint. It's a classic, just like Grandpa Joe and that 55 Chevy. It is always great, memorable and consistent. A solid, big bodied espresso with sweet chocolate notes and a dense fruity finish. Big Truck is a mix of beautiful organic coffees that are often washed, honeyed or natural. They change from season to season but it is an espresso you can always count on to deliver. Grandpa Joe eventually sold the truck but the memories live on in Big Truck Espresso. This is a fun right quote.

This is a fun left quote. 95 Points on Coffee Review?! KAPOW! Bird Rock coffee is on fire with their latest micro-lot offering, Guji Zone, Ethiopia. Heather Brisson and Nick Berardi at the roastery say it is flying out the doors at Bird Rock. They can barely roast it fast enough to fill orders. Take note, GoCoffeeGo customers, there is a reason Chuck Patton's small La Jolla roastery, Bird Rock Coffee, stole the thunder from other competing roasters in 2012 to get a place on our website. Chuck sources great coffee and goes to great lengths, traveling the world to get the primo beans and micro-lot coffees. He is a part of the elite group on GoCoffeeGo that makes travel a part of his life. When he cupped Guji, he fell in love. Guji is an intense coffee. Every aspect of it is intense. It is great, all across the board. Some coffees will have only one or two standout characteristics, like a nice acidity and a fine body or huge sweetness. When popping open a bag of Guji, it smells great. You notice a syrupy sweetness and deep fruitiness in aroma. When you brew it up, it really shines in pour over, cone filter or a Chemex. In an a French Press I would expect it to be even more intense. The flavors come in layers. When it is hot, you get floral, dried blueberry and fruit flavors out of it. As it cools, you notice the deepness of the profile with flavors like lycée and custardy chocolate. I advise everyone to try drinking it straight, without milk. This is a coffee that will get the coffee with milk drinkers to switch to drinking coffee black. We love this one. Brilliant! This is a fun right quote.
