This unique flavor profile is brought about by numerous factors, namely terroir (soil, land, elevation, etc), a special bean varietal and primitive processing methods. Our Sumatra Mandheling harnesses all of these unique features to create a flavor profile that will please all coffee lovers of this unique region. The cup opens up with the aroma of sweet pipe tobacco and dark purple fruit. The body is heavy and syrupy with the sweet tobacco flavor carrying into the flavor with a slyly gentle black pepper not. The sweetness features tones of black currant and dark plum with a balanced and juicy acidity. The cup rounds out with the aftertaste of herbal rosemary, truffle, cocoa and plum as the cup cools.
