o the farm is difficult; a few years ago the access road and bridge were washed away when the river flooded. Ever since, a short hike is required to get to the farm and the river is only traversable via foot bridge. Our Los Cantares coffee was part of a larger lot that was submitted to the 2012 Best of Panama competition. This exact lot was honored with an award of tenth place in the extremely competitive “Traditional” coffee category.
