anager and agronomist Jose Renato Gonvalves Dias uses organic fertilizers that are produced on the farm to rejuvenate the soil and nurture the coffee trees. The farm also maintains a reserve of close to 750 acres of rainforest on the property. Since the year 2000, Fazenda Sertaozinho has regularly placed in the annual Brazil Cup of Excellence competition. Attention fans of single-origin espresso: Although we are not featuring this coffee as an espresso per se, we have had excellent results pulling shots with the Fazenda Sertaozinho.
