Here's a really outstanding and classic washed Ethiopian: Super floral, crisp, with tea-like notes of nectar, blackberry and currant...or just general light berry goodness. On a scale of yum to zing, this is a shazaam! This coffee comes from the small Idido Cooperative in the coffee growing region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Farms that contribute to this lot are between 1800-2100 meters and are typically less than a hectare of land. Ethiopia is where coffee was born, and undoubtedly grows some of the most delicious coffee on the planet.
