Burundi Teka

At over 1900 meters, the Teka mill serves farmers in the Gitega area. Our offering from this cooperative in 2012, got a 91 on coffee review. This year's offering is very similar but we feel perhaps a tad juicier and maybe a little thicker bodied and getting more caramel, pear, and vanilla with this year's offering. From the 2012 review Ken David's wrote: "Dry, crisply juicy. Tart berry, cocoaish nut, peach, lavender-like flowers in aroma and cup. Brisk acidity; light, silky mouthfeel. Long, dry finish."
