Barefoot Coffee - Hawaiian Ka'u
$29.75 / 227 grams.
(8 ounces) This special coffee comes from our good friend Miguel Meza and Isla Coffee. Grown on several farms in Ka’u just above the the town of Pahala, at elevations between 1500-2000 feet. It is a snapshot of the distinctions in cup profiles one can find in Hawaii. We have carried Lora Obra’s Rusty Hawaiin, in the past, and have since become smitten with this region’s unique t
erroir. The total production area is about 350 acres tended to by 45 farmers who process the coffee at their homes. De-pulping, fermenting, washing and finally drying the coffee on raised beds. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy this homegrown product and in turn support Ka’u farmers in their quest to put their stamp on American Specialty coffee. SUGGESTED BREWING METHOD: CHEMEX.
