My Pick: Decaf La Convencion - Peru from Barefoot Coffee. I brew my Decaf La Convencion using an Aeropress (6T coffee, 3oz water poured over the coffee, and then 3oz water in my cup for an "Americano" version), and then add in a generous portion of whole milk. Because I make one mug at a time (which takes longer) everyone in my house makes fun of my morning coffee routine. But I know what I like and I don't care to settle for less! My favorite thing about the Decaf La Convencion (and all Barefoot coffees, for that matter): as my prepared cup of coffee cools, the flavor of smooth milk chocolate develops for a most delicious treat all the way to the bottom of the cup! No wonder I drink so much that I have to order it in 5lb bags! In fact, it's because I drink so much coffee that I prefer to mix in a good percentage of decaf so I'm not climbing the walls by noon. While GoCoffeeGo has afforded me the opportunity to sample some great coffees, I have settled pretty much exclusively on Barefoot as my preferred roaster. Sometimes, if I don't order it in time and I have to pick up some beans from another roaster, when I finally do have my next cup of barefoot my mouth says "Ah, home at last!"
