This coffee is hands down one of the best coffees I've ever had. Its low acidity allows for a full and complex taste. Its incredibly smooth delicious finish makes each sip a moment of delight. Having lived along the foothills of the Appalachian mountains until a few years ago, I think this roast is aptly named, as well. The dark, rich flavor with an almost sprinkling of berry takes me back to sitting under the shady canopy of the mountain trees watching the sun flitter through the foliage. Knowing that buying the coffee helps preserve that shady canopy for others to experience makes it that much more enjoyable.
