I ordered 4 different Equator coffees, thinking it would be fun to try so many
different things, but upon starting my first bag of Zulu French Coffee, I started
wishing I had just gotten 4 of that one. It was that good! This bag of coffee is
everything a bag of coffee should be. The minute I opened it the whole kitchen
filled with the smell and the beans glistened with that lovely oily sheen that great
coffee has. It doesn't stop there though, every pot we brewed with this coffee
was delicious. It was rich and flavorful and had a pleasant acidity that was not
overwhelming. It was also the perfect level of dark roast, making a strong cup of
coffee that wasn't over-the-top dark. Often with dark roast coffee I feel the need
to add cream before I can drink it but I enjoyed this coffee both black and with
the addition of cream. I will definitely be ordering this coffee again!
